We approved a resident’s application and received their deposit but because of scheduling problems we said we would have them sign the lease later. They moved in and we immediately got a complaint about their teenage boy from another resident. When they came in to sign the lease we told them we were no longer willing to sign a 6 month lease that they would sign a month to month lease and we would see how things go. We’re getting more complaints about them so I want to give 30 day notice. I would like the notice to serve as notice to vacate as well so that if they don’t move I can immediately file eviction complaint with court. Is there a form that does both? We are in Texas and TAA members.
Can I give 30 day notice to brand new resident and have it serve as notice to vacate too?
