With only rare exceptions an eviction is started with a notice. The landlord may servce the eviction notice(but not the summons and complaint). Eviction notice forms are available on our eviction forms page.

The most common types of eviction notices are:

  1. 3-day Notice to Pay Rent or Vacate
  2. 10-day Notice to Comply or Vacate
  3. 3-day Nuisance Notice
  4. Notice to Terminate Tenancy
