Contact the lawyers referral service of the Mass. Bar Association. They have a list of lawyers in every part of the state that will work for free or at a reduced rate. The number should be in the yellow pages under LAWYERS.
Was this an apartment community ? If it was go to the office and see the sticker posted on front door or window that says if they are with an apartment assoc like HAA or TAA . Get the number from them or phone book . Write them a letter and they will contact them they have certain amount to respond or else. Hope that helps.
