Being evicted for non payment of rent went to court won, landlord is suing me again for the same thing?

I Have been living in my apartment for over 18 years, landlord came and offered me money to move, I decline, went to court won my case the landlord is still trying to evict me, is this legal, I read that the owners can sue you 12 times a year, I don’t have money for an attorney, I went pro per, I can not keep paying filing fees, the owners are harrassing me to move, is this a legal ? not only myself but also my neighbor who also been living here for about 25 years, she also won her eviction case and now they are also taking here back to court.

    Yes, if u pay monthly then they can sue you 12 times a year. Try asking thme why they want you out of there so much. Maybe file a lawsuit saying they let go of the place and that you had to call in repairmen urself. Blackmail them, that’ll put all this to an end for sure.

    This time you need an attorney.
    In most large cities there are attorneys who handle tenant rights cases.
    If you contact your state Bar Association, they can provide a list of attorneys who will help you either free of charge or on a sliding scale.
    You need to think about suing the landlord. At minimum ask for attorney’s fees if you go back to court.

    They can probably get more money from new renters, sue them for harrassment, If you pay your rent on time and so does your neighbor consider a class action case.

    I had to battle with a landlord over a flooded basement which would not have happened if she had it repaired when I put in the work order. I won the battle and she lost her job.

    Also, keep recipts, and give all work orders in writting and have them sign a copy and give it back, they may bulk but you have the right to demand it.
