Author: My previous landlord is trying to collect on “property damages” that are exceedingly outrageous. What type of attorney should I seek in order to challenge these charges?

Either a property lawyer, or maybe a contract lawyer. It depends what the damages are. It also depends on whether the contract contains certain terms regarding damages.
