Need a good lawyer in NYC to bring my landlord to court?

Author: My landlord has failed to fix leaking/cracking roofs for over 3 months. I tried to come to an agreement with him over these uninhabitable living conditions but he will do no such thing. I have no choice left but to hire an excellent attorney to get me reimbursed a few months rent. Can anyone suggest a good attorney?

The most reliable recommendations normally come from state’s State Bar. Call them and they will recommend you one over the phone. The fees that excellent attorneys charge for their services will far exceed your rent’s reimbursement.
The best thing for you to do would be to take your landlord to a small claims court.
